BAG ROOM LEAD

Position Summary
Edgewood Valley Country Club is seeking a motivated, dependable, and service-oriented individual to serve as our Bag Room Lead for the upcoming golf season. This leadership role is ideal for someone who takes pride in organization, teamwork, and delivering first-class service to our members and guests.

The Bag Room Lead plays a key role in the daily golf operations and is responsible for ensuring a seamless, professional experience from arrival to departure.
 

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing members and guests with first-class customer service at all times
  • Organizing and operating the bag room efficiently and professionally
  • Supervising daily bag room operations and assisting with staff direction as needed
  • Cleaning, staging, and maintaining golf carts to club standards
  • Maintaining the cart barn, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper charging procedures
  • Assisting members with loading/unloading golf bags
  • Monitoring pace and flow of cart usage throughout the day
  • Communicating effectively with the Golf Shop and outside operations team
  • Upholding club policies and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example and work well in a team environment
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and carry golf bags (up to 50 lbs)
  • Availability to work 35-45 hrs a week, including some weekends and holidays
  • Prior golf course or hospitality experience preferred but not required
